Vendor Information for the Hummingbird Festival

Our Festival would not be complete without our wonderful vendors. Over 200 area artists plan to display and sell their crafts here in the heart of Historic Hogansville. Food vendors will be able to tempt the crowd with their irresistible aromas and artful cooking techniques in a special food court area.

Approximately 15,000 people attend the festival each year, enjoying our hospitality and hometown atmosphere.

The Hogansville Hummingbird Contest is back for 2012!

Put your artistic fancy in flight, and paint the town "hummingbird"!

Modeled after the Chicago Cows of some years back, contestants are given a large sturdy plywood "bird" ready to paint, or be covered in any artistic manner the contestant wishes. All types of contestants are invited: individuals, civic organizations, churches, businesses. Everyone is welcome to create the hummingbird that best represents them. The entries are displayed from the lampposts up and down Main Street, and they are a sight to behold! See our photo gallery for some of the fabulous entries from past years.

The Painted Hummingbird Contest was made possible by Gregg Dickerson of the Hummingbird Factory who built the birds used in the contest , so "paint your hummingbird" and come along!
